Who we are
Education
Electing Women Wisconsin is committed to harnessing the collective power of women donors to increase the number of Democratic women elected to office. Through strategic fundraising, education, and connection, EW-WI empowers women donors, helps them build necessary networks, supports candidates, and amplifies the importance of women’s voices in the political process.
Electing Women Wisconsin is part of Electing Women Alliance (EWA) which was formed in 2015 and has raised more than $28 million for women candidates through our chapters across the country.
In partnership with Honorary Chair Secretary of State Sarah Godlewski, EW-WI is building a network of donors ready to support women candidates from the day they launch their campaigns and every day thereafter. Our goal is to create lasting change in Wisconsin by electing women at all levels of government and empowering them to lead.
Our Work
As we look ahead to 2025 and beyond, Electing Women Wisconsin (EW-WI) is focused on expanding its efforts to fund and educate donors who are committed to electing more women to office at all levels—from the State Supreme Court to local office. Our 2025 strategy is built on three core pillars: Education, Fundraising, and Connection.
EW-WI is dedicated to ensuring that our donor community is well-informed and engaged in the process of electing women to office. We provide our members with critical information about key races, the importance of supporting women candidates, and the impact of their financial contributions. Through regular briefings, national calls with political experts, and candidate updates, we empower our donors to make strategic, informed decisions on where to direct their resources. Education is a key part of ensuring that women candidates have the financial backing necessary to run competitive
Connection
Fundraising & Collective Impact
Fundraising is at the heart of our work. EW-WI focuses on mobilizing a community of donors who contribute to women candidates across Wisconsin. Our fundraising strategy is designed to make a tangible impact—whether that means supporting high-profile races like Governor and State Supreme Court or down-ballot candidates in local elections. We leverage the power of collective giving by having events where donors directly give to the candidate -- not a PAC. This approach helps women candidates directly receive the financial resources needed to run effective campaigns and show strong campaign viability. Donors will be briefed on key candidates and their races, giving them the ability to make focused, strategic contributions that will make a real difference in the election outcome.
Electing Women Wisconsin (EW-WI) is creating a vibrant, collaborative community of donors united by their commitment to supporting women in politics. This network is about more than financial contributions—it’s a space where donors can connect, learn, and engage with like-minded individuals who share their passion for empowering women and shaping Wisconsin’s political future. EW-WI offers donors meaningful opportunities to make a difference through educational events, networking, and collaborative advocacy, turning individual generosity into collective impact.
Through this community, donors are not only supporting women candidates—they’re building relationships, exchanging ideas, and contributing to a movement that amplifies the voices of women across the state. By coming together, our donors create a ripple effect of influence that helps ensure women candidates have the resources, connections, and encouragement they need to succeed. EW-WI’s ultimate goal is to foster a stronger, more inclusive political landscape in Wisconsin by empowering both donors and candidates to lead and create lasting change.
